...was actually not completely terrible, which was surprising considering how it started off (with me being unable to sleep until ~2:30 last night because some guy was watching TV in his room, and then a continuation of the usual "everything I try to do doesn't work" trend from the previous day.) By the time I got to my Sculpture class, though, it got a lot better. I made a random ball of wire (because I had no actual project-based work to do since I don't have my Muppet skull yet) and Professor Waldrop randomly played the Frito Bandito song (from old Fritos commercials) in the class, and people were randomly singing bits of it for the next couple hours afterward. XD
Printmaking went okay too; I have the resin (and spraypaint) on my plate again now, so I should be able to dunk it into the acid and start the aquatint process for real this time (and actually go through the whole process of multiple acid-dunks to get some parts darker than others this time, instead of just putting it in once and then taking it out to print it... and in the process destroying the resin/spraypaint layer that would make it possible to do more shading on it afterward.) So I'll probably get that done tomorrow or Saturday, not sure which at the moment. Also ended up bumping into a lot of people I knew at meals (...okay, mostly at supper... I think I had someone to talk to at lunch also, but somehow I can't remember who it was at this point... which is really weird), got a hug so strong that I was almost worried I'd get knocked over (the second time that's happened here!), and bought a balloon-bear (with balloon-flower) and sneakily gave it to Ruth by putting it in the Spanish classroom that they have tutoring in before she got there. That'd be the first time I've given someone anything for Valentine's Day since high school; I haven't seen her at all since then, though, so I didn't get to see her reaction and I don't know if she knows it was me who gave it to her just yet--I didn't put my name on it at all. XD
Also went to the "Maze of Time" meeting (one group among the school's creative-writing club) for the second time, and just like the first time it ended up leading to a ton of goofiness. And, in the case of Michelle and Clarissa, high-pitched squeaky fangirl rants about Naruto. XD I think I end up adding at least one new quote to my random quotes list every time I go to these things, heh. Not sure if I'll end up writing anything for the next one (the prompt is "marshmallows and chickens"), but who knows? Maybe if I get bored one day and don't have much (or any) homework to do I might write some random little thing about... chickens... and marshmallows. Or maybe just marshmallow chickens...?
I still have no idea when (or if?) I'm going to be able to go to the play that's being shown tomorrow and Saturday. I was thinking of going tomorrow since there's a dance on Saturday and they probably overlap with each other... but I don't know if I'll have anyone to sit with, which is a major problem due to my crowd-freakout issues. I do want to see this thing at some point, but.... it's looking like I might miss my only chance because I never really got around to asking anyone about it. Guh...
