Back in Buena Vista, but not back at school

Yep... as of a couple weeks ago, I've been living in Buena Vista again.  Of course, since I graduated (against my will) last semester I'm not taking any more classes at SVU, but I'm still in the area because... well, I don't want to go back to middle-of-nowhere Alleghany County and get stuck there.

I've been poking around at some job search websites lately and have found a few possibilities, though I haven't actually signed up for anything yet.  I should probably start putting in some applications soon, but... I've never really done that before so it's kind of hard to get started.  I'm also selling stuff on eBay again; so far it looks like I'm going to make over $50 on one of my old Super Nintendo games (and the auction hasn't ended yet, so I may get a bunch of people slipping in at the last minute and bumping it up even higher than that) and maybe 5 bucks on some old Pogs that I got from Burger King when I was a lot younger.  eBay sales won't be nearly enough to pay rent with, of course, so I will have to get an actual job before mid-February or so.  Hopefully sooner than that.

The past couple weeks have mostly been kind of lonely, since I've been staying back at my apartment and/or walking around Buena Vista most of the time rather than being up around the SVU campus.  I did show up at one of the library mods the other day when some friends were having a henna party, and ended up getting the Dark Mark from Harry Potter painted onto my arm with plant-goop. XD  It was nice to actually be around people again... I'll have to try and do that more often, though it's a lot tougher now that I don't have a stash of ID-card money to pay for dining hall meals with and I'm not up on campus much due to not having classes anymore.  There's still so many friends around that I haven't seen once since I've been back here, which kind of sucks.  I'm really missing certain people right now.  There is a dance later on this week (Friday for some reason, instead of Saturday like they usually do... not sure why), so I'll probably go to that, especially since it's the Honor Ball (that's the one where they have a live band come in, have dance cards, and do actual dancing rather than "random wiggle-dancing" the whole time) which has always turned out well in the past.  There's also some sort of Institute activity the same day, but I'm unsure exactly what it is so I may or may not go to that.
