Explosions!

Yep... explosions.  Because I got to see Buena Vista's Labor Day fireworks last night, heh.

Anyway, yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day.  Found out that I most likely won't have to buy any books at all this semester (freeing up that whole $1300 of extra financial aid money for buying food, most likely from Jonzzey's once they open but also the dining hall occasionally), got to talk with someone I haven't seen much of yet this semester (and also practice my Spanish a bit by trying to figure out what the names of Spanish/Portuguese foods meant without reading the translations XD), and did more work on my Zelda Classic tileset (Link's tiles are done now, along with pretty much everything else except dungeon graphics.)  Ate supper in the dining hall and, for the first time since I've gotten here, a lot of my friends were actually there--I ended up sitting with the Doctor Who Club people, most of whom I hadn't really seen much of (besides saying hi to them in passing) so far.  As a result, I have now heard about someone getting coconut stuck in their nose while eating coconut cake... and also been threatened with having a piece of coconut cake stuffed down my throat. XD

I've really missed sitting with these guys (...well, girls; I was the only actual guy at the table XD) and talking and generally goofing off.  Honestly that's probably the only reason I kept eating at the dining hall as often as I did last semester, aside from the whole lack-of-money issue.  Probably will be the same way this year--if the food's good or I see some friends in the dining hall, I'll eat there; otherwise I won't.

Also, classes started today.  But not for me, because I have no classes on Tuesdays.  Muwahahaha!
